A chance encounter with a producer filming in Atlanta led Barrow Group to expand into one more underserved niche market in the early 2000s. Upon learning that Robert Barrow worked in insurance, the producer commented on the difficulty of securing film production insurance, especially in markets outside of California or New York. With his curiosity sparked, Bob Barrow began to research the film and television production industry and its insurance requirements and soon hired the company’s first film insurance specialist. With a BFA in Film Production, Barrow Group’s Director of Film & TV Insurance, provides each client with an exacting level of knowledge when it comes to evaluating the risks associated with any stage of production and the required film insurance to best protect the investment.
